Growing Older

Ahhh! Another birthday has come and gone. So you know what that means...I'm getting older! I guess I'm okay with that. With age comes wisdom, right? I must admit that I haven't accomplished all that I had expected. I thought I would be further established in my career and a homeowner. Nope! Didn't happen. But that's the thing about life...No matter how much you plan and are determined for things to go a certain way, there's always surprises that throw you off course. The little and big things that are impossible to predict and others that you fail to account for. Being a control freak myself, it sometimes appears to me as failure but I can also say I'm learning to see the beauty of it all. So folks, I guess what I'm saying is live in the moment and enjoy life because regretting the past or worrying about the future is just a waste of time!
